Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. I offer a complimentary 10ā15 minute phone consultation before we begin. This is a chance for you to ask questions, share what's bringing you to therapy, and get a feel for whether we're a good fit. There's no pressure or commitment involved.
-
If you've been asking yourself that question, it's probably a sign something is worth exploring. Therapy isn't only for crisis moments. Many people come feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like they're going through the motions without knowing why.
You don't need a diagnosis or a big reason to reach out. Wanting more clarity, ease, or connection with yourself is enough. A free consultation is a great place to start.

I offer individual therapy for adults 18+ on a one-on-one basis. Sessions are a dedicated space for you to explore what's on your mind, whether that's a specific challenge, a life transition, or a longer-standing pattern you'd like to understand better. Together we'll work at your pace toward the goals that matter most to you.
-
Sessions are typically 50 minutes. Most clients start by meeting weekly, which helps build momentum and a strong therapeutic relationship. As you progress, we can adjust the frequency to whatever fits your needs and schedule.
Getting Started
-
I work with adults aged 18+

I work with adults navigating a wide range of experiences, including grief and loss, anxiety (from everyday worry to severe panic), dissociation and dissociative disorders including DID. I also work with suicidality, whether you're personally struggling or carrying the weight of losing someone to suicide.
Additionally, I work with clients who want to incorporate a Christian perspective into their healing, as well as those processing church hurt or spiritual abuse. You don't have to be religious to work with me, but if faith is part of your story, there's space for that here.
If you're unsure whether what you're going through fits, please reach out. Iām happy to talk it through

My primary theoretical orientation is Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), which means I help clients identify and shift the beliefs that drive emotional distress.
I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a research-backed approach particularly effective for trauma, anxiety, and panic. Depending on what you're working through, we may draw on one or both of these, always tailored to what feels right for you.

In-person sessions are available in Texas, and telehealth sessions are available to clients located in either state."
Who I Work With
-
Sessions are $200 per 50 min individual session.
**If you're interested in sessions longer than 50 minutes, fees will be discussed during your consultation.
-
I offer a small number of sliding scale slots for clients with financial need. If this is something you may be needing, feel free to mention it during your consultation and I'll let you know what's currently open."
-
I am an out-of-network (OON) provider, which means I don't bill insurance directly. However, many insurance plans include out-of-network mental health benefits that may reimburse you for a portion of our sessions.
If needed, I can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) after each session that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. I recommend calling the member services number on your insurance card and asking about your out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits before we begin.
Fees and Insurance
-
I offer both in-person and virtual sessions.
Some clients prefer the comfort of meeting from home via HIPAA compliant video, while others find value in having a dedicated space outside their home to come to. Either way, the quality of care is the same. We can also mix formats if your schedule changes week to week.
-
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full session fee.

Yes. Everything you share in therapy is confidential. There are a few legal and ethical exceptions where I am required to act or disclose information:
If you are at risk of harming yourself or someone else
If there is suspected or reported abuse of a minor, an elderly person, or an individual with a mental or physical disability
If I am subpoenaed by an attorney or ordered by a court to release information
Outside of these circumstances, what you share stays between us. I'll walk you through confidentiality in full at the beginning of the first session so you feel clear and informed
